By air – The closest airport to Kashmir is the Sheikh Ul-Alam International Airport in Srinagar. It is situated approximately 15 kilometers away from the city centre. Direct flights to Srinagar are available from India’s major cities. If you are travelling from Mumbai or Delhi, note that flying to Jammu is another option.
