One of the best things to do in Dubai is exploring Hatta Village located in the Al Hajar Mountains. This ancient village was restored in 2001 and today has a watchtower, a mosque, and homes that are an exact replica of the olden days. Even the materials used for construction is the same.
You can also have a look at how the traditional Emirati people use to live and what kind of instruments, utensils, weapons were used by them. The village gives you an idea as to how times have changed and the illustrations on the wall tell a story of the time gone by. This is the perfect place to have a look at the history of Dubai.
