The Torres De Serranos or the Serranos Towers were built in 1391 by Pere Balaguer, as a means of reinforcing the city. It is one of the largest Gothic city gateways in and around Europe, which temporarily accommodated prison cells and presented as a victorious archway on many celebratory and formal occasions. From these towers, you can enjoy marvelous views of the city and the river Turia.
